Having worked in both contract positions and full time employee roles David is a distinguished IT professional with over 19 years of experience in the IT industry and over 17 years of experience working with SQL Server. Over the past three years, David has worked with Hyland Software to convert more than a billion documents from disparate legacy systems into OnBase performing full ETL and discrete data conversions. While performing conversions David has written programs in .net and PowerShell that perform complex conversion tasks such as: • Merging multiple files and file types into a single document. Outputs include PDF, Multi-page Tiff or Word • Generating documents (PDF, Word, Multi-Page TIFF) from discrete data • Adding attachments to PDF files • Extracting attachments and embedded files from PDFs, Emails, Word Documents, Excel workbooks, etc. • Extracting and converting blobs from databases • Converting RTF files to PDF • Much more Although David’s focus as of late has been ETL conversions into OnBase he has had a primary focus on SQL Server and its supporting cast (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, etc.) as a database administrator/database developer for the last 17 years. He has extensive experience working with SQL server versions starting with version 7 through its current form. He has performed high profile projects for companies like Charles Schwab, Smuckers, Greenville Health Systems, Applied Industrial Technologies and many others. In addition to SQL Server and OnBase David has completed several high profile projects in VB.net, ASP.net, PowerShell, PeopleSoft, SQR, infrastructure/network builds, backups, etc. His broad exposure to different technologies makes him a more versatile SQL Server/OnBase professional because of his understanding of how different systems interact with each other.
