David Gold is currently the Global Chief Operating Officer at Optima Partners. He holds significant responsibilities in helping shape firm-wide culture, infrastructure and overseeing all global business operations including human resources, information technology and finance.David had specialized in the financial services sector from the outset of his career and has experience in advising institutional investment advisors on best practices, conducting operational and investment due diligence, asset manager acquisitions, product management and indices. Most recently he was a senior member of the prime brokerage business consulting team at Morgan Stanley, providing in-depth advisory consulting services to start-up and existing hedge fund managers. He also has worked at Towers Watson, BlackRock, Mitsui & Co. And CIBC Oppenheimer.
