David Lash-steier

I am a well rounded machinist cross trained in multiple skill sets and specializing in highly complex tight tolerance mission critical components involving numerous operations and custom fixturing and tooling for both prototype and production. I am a proficient manual grinder, well versed at programming in MasterCam, efficient and effective in setting up and running mills and lathes, focused on teamwork, and eager to develop and hone my skill set as a tool maker even further. My ability to problem solve, work autonomously, learn new equipment, train new employees, and inspect my work is what I think makes me a valuable asset. I have experience running/setting up/ programming Mazak Vertical Mills, Mazak Lathes, Mazak Integrex, Fadal Mills, ProtoTrak Mills, Sunnen Hone, Jig Grinder, Surface Grinders, Cylindrical Grinders, Cam Grinders, Mitsubishi Wire EDM, EDM Hole Popper, Federal 55 ton punch press, Warner and Swasey turret lathes, and much more.
