For more than 25 years, I've focused on being an innovator in digital marketing technology and methodologies. I've been fortunate to oversee marketing for some of Silicon Valley's leading technology companies and DemandGen (now BDO Digital) has helped clients become marketing heroes by transforming their marketing teams into high-performance Demand Factories outputting growth and revenue. My career journey began at Microsoft, where I was part of the US Sales and Marketing team responsible for launching the Windows operating system and first Microsoft Office applications. In 1991, I moved to Silicon Valley to work with game-changing companies like Farallon, Netopia, and Ellie Mae. My first startup pioneered voice over IP for video gaming and we sold it a year later — the video gaming industry was forever changed. I'm passionate about aligning sales and marking. All of it. The people, processes, systems. Working with 100's of clients has enabled us to develop and refine new ways to help sales and marketing teams align and seamlessly blend art, science, and systems which I've written about in "Manufacturing Demand", a best selling book I published in October 2012 available on Amazon.com or for free at www.manufacturingdemand.com. In 2007, I founded DemandGen International, an Inc. 500 global consulting and services company that helps sales and marketing teams achieve alignment, define and operationalize demand-generation processes, and create maximum advantage from marketing technology and sales technology systems. Our partners include Marketo, Oracle, Salesforce, Infor, and dozens of other best-of-breed digital marketing and sales technologies that are part of The DemandGen Alliance.
