David Madeleine

A teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching Design and Technology. I completed my studies at Sussex University and graduated with a Bachelor of Education with Honors ( Design & Technology). During my studies, I also worked as a Trainer Teacher at Cardinal Newman School in Brighton. I then joined the Seychelles Polytechnic School of Engineering as Head of Mechanical Engineering & Fabrication. In 2000, I joined Rashid School for Boys and have been teaching at the school for over 21 years. I have built a strong rapport with my colleagues and students based on mutual respect. I always make sure I set the grounds for teaching by clearly stating my expectations from the students, I encourage every student to actively participate in class and quickly identify those who need more attention and support. I make time to listen and hear the students out, this has helped tremendously in building confidence in the students and for them to feel comfortable to approach me.
