I specialize in the development, production release, and post-release support of complex hardware platforms across various industries: networking, DSP, electric vehicle powertrains, and consumer electronics. I’ve led small electrical engineering teams and large cross-functional hardware organizations, scaling team capabilities as needed. In a leadership role it is challenging to keep “hands-on” technical skills fresh, but I find I am happiest when I’m able to get time in the lab/shop to work with smart Engineers to solve tough problems. I also love to work with individuals in other professions which are crucial to transform Engineering excellence to revenue, such as manufacturing, supply chain, technology partners, investors, product support, and product management.
