David Sánchez

Currently based in Sydney, I am a Business Analyst for the travel and transportation industry; more specifically for the Airlines' IT research and development of Amadeus Departure Control System ⏤Altéa DCS⏤ product definition. Holding a MSc. Eng. In Computing (Spain) and B. Sc. In Software (Ireland) I initially developed my career in the Advisory division of PwC, and later on in Deloitte, providing consultancy services to highly demanding market leaders in energy, services and retail industries. I have gained experience in a wide range of projects ⏤mostly in supply chain management and enterprise process reengineering⏤ for internationally renowned clients, to help them transform their IT function. I have been involved in SAP SCM F&R (Forecast and Replenishment) and SAP MM (Materials Management/Procurement) roll-outs for a world leader in large department stores. Among these implementations, common responsibilities for overall projects comprised large-datasets’ analysis ⏤to make business sense out of high volumes of information⏤, elaboration of board reports and presentations, product specifications writing and users' training. As well as commercial proposals, pre-sales activities and C-suite level meetings.
