David Seda

David Seda is the Vice President, Global Field Marketing of Calix. He is responsible for the marketing of Calix systems and solutions. He joined Calix in August 2011 with 24 years of international experience in networking, consumer electronics, and enterprise technologies. He spent 13 years at Cisco, most recently serving as Managing Director and Ggeneral Manager of West Africa Sales. Previously, in London he was Head of Marketing for Cisco Europe, Middle East &a; Africa (EMEA), helping establish Cisco's presence in emerging markets. Earlier at Cisco headquarters, David was Senior Director of Corporate Marketing, where he developed Strategic Global Marketing Programs. At Hewlett Packard, David was Vice President of Marketing for EMEA. Before HP and Cisco, he spent 10 years at Apple in Engineering, Marketing, and later as Senior Director of Communications reporting to the Apple CEO. David holds an MBA from Texas Tech University and Bachelor's Degrees in Computer Science, Economics, and Business Management from Graceland University in Iowa. He is currently a Guest Lecturer at the Helsinki School of Economics in Finland.
