I have had exposure to UNIX/Linux OS since 1980 and have been doing the system administrator thing since 2000. It has been in a mix of large and mid-sized organisations including those in the banking industry. I bring with me enterprise workplace experience and practices, a wealth of system administration experience and an understanding of how corporate infrastructure hangs together and am able to employ these skills to perform given tasks and improve existing processes and procedures within any organisation. In all roles, I endeavour to automate and standardise as much of the job as I can. Recently, work has been all about infrastructure modernisation and moving to the cloud especially to AWS along with all the subsidiary technologies that come with that.
