David V.

David is responsible for real asset financial advisory, equity financing, structured project development and investor relations as an Associate Director at Kaplink in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Kaplink, he spent 9 months as a contracted investment banking associate with Weiji Capital between New York and Hong Kong, with responsibility for two major oil & gas mandates. Previously, David spent three years as a project finance analyst focused on EMEA power and renewable energy projects for Winch Energy in London. He gained extensive deal exposure developing utility-scale projects in over 25 countries, as well as being an originator and manager of the company’s +100 asset UK community solar PV tranche. He holds a Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Kent with a dissertation on sustainability integration, and a Master’s degree from the University of London in International Business & Development, with an additional minor in finance and a thesis based on disruptive energy technologies.
