Dean Fleischhacker

As the VP Operations of Quantum Downhole Systems Dean has an accomplished operational history in the oil and gas service industry. Dean’s formative years on a farm in Saskatchewan gave him the mechanical skills for field work. His study in Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan and five years in the Calgary office of Amerada Hess provided the basis for his business acumen. Dean quickly saw an opportunity in 1995 to enter the oilfield waste management and recycling business. He founded and successfully operated Recyc-Haul Waste Management Inc. For 15 years. After selling this business, Dean saw the prospect to be part of growing another business, Quantum Downhole Systems. Dean joined Quantum in 2011 as a contract field tech to build his understanding of Quantum from the ground up. Today as VP Operations, Dean coordinates all field operations. Quantum is a privately held company that delivers field-proven concentric coiled tubing solutions that clear, clean, stimulate and provide production evaluation for underpressured horizontal wells. When Dean is not in the field or in the Calgary office he is spending time with his family or on the golf course dreaming up his ideal mechanic’s garage-mahal.
