Dean Kirkland

Having worked at TNT Express and now FedEx Express since the beginning of 2002, I have worked in various positions at the station, which has allowed me to gain valuable experiences and knowledge. In my present role as an Operations Supervisor, I have full responsibility for a team of handlers on the night shift. I like to empower my team members in resolving any problems or issues they may encounter on a nightly basis. I lead my team with fairness, integrity, and with gratitude, as we all need to appreciate how well the team achieves their nightly KPI’s and deadlines throughout the night, no matter what the circumstances may be. I lead my team with a positive attitude and let no difficulties deter me from meeting my KPI’s and set targets. I am very organized and am excellent at planning any changes we have had over the past few years, using my good understanding of the various Microsoft office suite.
