Deborah Forbes

Prior to joining Clarkston Capital in October 2011, Debbi spent 20 years at Munder Capital Management, where she supported the Executive Team, Client Servicing Staff, Portfolio Management Teams, and Operations / Systems Groups in all areas of investment management, including executive-level firm reporting, customized client reporting, client and prospect communications tracking, focused marketing material development, and data quality assurance. She also served as the firm’s Corporate Trainer, specializing in Microsoft Office® products and Satuit, the firm’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, and provided internal Help Desk support on these tools. Debbi was, in fact, the firm’s primary internal architect in implementing its CRM system, customizing the product to meet the needs of the firm; and was also instrumental on the team charged with moving the firm to a new portfolio accounting system, Advent APX. Debbi also developed, tested, streamlined and documented internal workflow procedures, in particular, those related to creating and maintaining executive-level Sales and Client Servicing reports; conducted efficiency analyses; and spearheaded efforts to automate manual processes. Debbi has nearly 30 years of experience in the investment industry, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities. She began her career at Loomis Sayles as an administrator in 1982. Debbi attended Eastern Michigan University, is Series 7-licensed, teaches adult education on Microsoft Office products, and is a certified Advanced Master Gardener.
