In perusing through the ever-growing demand for Graphic Artists who are experienced, yet new and innovative, who are young and talented, yet possess 5+ years of professional experience, I often find myself wondering if it's just the HR Department of hiring companies putting their greatest fantasies for "qualified applicants" in the blank spots and hoping for the best. Not to fear though. There is far more to professional design than being 25 years old with 10 years of experience and a Master's Degree in four separate fields. If you want to move with the pulse of today's design, investing in someone with less "professional experience" could just be the key to finding that untapped talent to help your company stand out. Why have a marketing campaign that looks just like everyone else's when you can find that one person that will knock it out of the ball park and set you apart from the competition. Sometimes, to get ahead in the industry, you have to take a risk. But why risk your designs on someone who's been working for the competition for years? Take a better risk and find that person that has all of the creativity in the world, and hasn't given it away to someone else.
