Over a career spanning industries and fields, I have learned that the vast majority of people want to work hard, they want to produce quality output, and they want to be led. They crave order and clear direction, looking for leaders to lead. This is where I come in.What started with Gallup leadership training in my first post-undergrad role has developed into a passion, fueling career growth and objectives over the last two decades. Businesses from startups to corporations can only be as successful as the people behind the tasks and functions, and often the people driving the businesses are overlooked. My goal, through effective leadership, is to reach these people and help them understand how to achieve their greatest successes, both professional and personal.Cutting my teeth at a Fortune 500 company in the fields of Accounting & Finance, I was exposed to the environment and circumstances required to make organizations of significant size and breadth go forward and succeed. I was able to utilize that experience in the same field, but at a mid-size transportation contractor, helping to grow the company by over 50% through bid wins and acquisitions before being acquired by its largest public shareholder.In 2016 I had an opportunity to move into a senior leadership role in Operations for the same company – an opportunity to leverage all of the leadership experience gained over the years and execute in a way best aligned with my skill set. Since then I have grown my area of responsibility four-fold to-date, allowing me to maximize the amount of people to influence and do what it is that I do best: lead people and processes on the path to success.
