Denise Farnsworth

Denise is currently CEO and Founder of Inspire! Privacy and Security, LLC and President of Farnsworth Law PC and. Her previous roles included: Deputy Data Protection Officer for Facebook Ireland, Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Global Corporate Counsel for Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Senior Director, Global Privacy Officer, Lead Privacy Counsel for NetSuite and Head of Legal, Data Privacy and Compliance Officer for Microsoft Ireland where she provided support for Microsoft’s European Development Centre, Irish Subsidiary, Data Centre and Microsoft's Operations Center for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Her current focus is on international privacy, data protection and cybersecurity, and she is skilled in government affairs, regulatory compliance, strategy development, operations, litigation, mediation, product and business development, partner management, and transactions, international business, technology, intellectual property and managing large high-performing teams. Denise is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association (2005 – Present) and an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University Law School. She currently holds several certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and was listed on Legal500's Power GC List in Ireland for 2015. She was a Charter Member of the Ireland Chamber of Commerce General Counsel Forum (2013 – Present), Board Member of the Society for Computers and Law Irish Chapter (2013 – 2016), Committee Member for the Data Working Group of the Department of the Taoiseach (2105 – 2016), Chair of the Data Privacy and Security Group for IBEC/ICT Ireland (2015 – 2016), Cultural Diversity Lead for Microsoft Ireland (2013 – 2014) and is a regular guest lecturer and speaker at multiple venues (2009 - present).
