I enjoy helping people become better at what they do. I love seeing it when a light bulb goes off because they have seen something in a new way. I enjoy helping people and, if possible, help to make a positive difference. I’ve been a successful Process Improvement manager for more than 10 years with proven results. Positive ROI on projects resulting in millions in savings, improved efficiencies and quality and making it easier to do business. Good business management, yes, but always with an eye on the customer and the employee. I’ve worn many hats in my years as a front line worker, analyst, trainer, supervisor and manager. I have experience with virtual relationships and working remotely. While I have knowledge in Life Insurance, Health Insurance and Bank Operations often my work has been in areas I have little or no experience in. As a result I have strong learning agility and am comfortable networking in a new area. Core competencies include: • Lean/Six Sigma – 10+ years’ experience designing and implementing processes. • Shingo – part of a team that earned the first Shingo Award given to a Financial Institution. • Public Speaking – Distinguished Toastmaster and experience in multi-media presentations. • Training – Developing and presenting to all levels from front line employees to executive. • Operations Management – 10 years managing service operations, call centers and claims departments. I grew up as a country girl but moved into Corporate America as an adult. Looking to gain some of my “country girl” attitude back as I start a new career in writing from home to allow more time to enjoy my animals, gardening, reading, and artwork.
