Dennis Sutton

I have 27 years of experience as a professional commercial photographer and as owner of Studio East Photography, Inc. Back in the 80's, I built a hi-resolution scanner as an experiment, using a Commodore 64. This opened up a new niche, influencing digital technology at the time. I set up some of the very first prepress production houses in Akron, Ohio. In the 90's, I created 4 hardbound books, and developed the first web site for Bill Gates and Time/Warner in Ohio. I also produced some of the first digital illustrations in Ohio at this time, which were then successfully output to Scitex and film devices in their early stages of development. I attended the first virtual reality workshop at the University of Akron and then created morphed imagery before software for this had been developed. I produced multi-media projects, using early versions of Photoshop and other programs. When traditional design and production were the standard, I implemented the the switch to digital design systems in several design firms in northeast Ohio. I continue to work in digital design and production for print and web and am expanding into film making as well. I intend to produce documentaries and possibly feature films. I have trained many people over the years and am also considering teaching at a college level. Specialties: Photography, Digital Technology, writing, anything visually interpreted, 3D development for film, and any new technology in the film industry. Animation for web or any use.
