Derek Steadman

I enjoy problem solving and I'm good at it. I design and improve high volume fluid transfer couplers most commonly used for refueling and maintenance of mining machinery - something like a gas pump that could fill your car tank in 3 seconds. It requires tedious attention to detail and lots of testing and troubleshooting. I'm a people person, too, so I'm one of the guys who gets to visit end users and work with them at length to solve problems particular to their application. I like meeting new people and helping them overcome obstacles to make their lives and jobs more enjoyable. In my free time I've taken on projects like learning computer coding, tutoring physics and mathematics, and autoCAD design on a fun personal level and outside consulting. Outside of work I like to spend my time with my wife and daughter, reading religion and sci-fi, playing or watching soccer, and going on scenic drives.
