Derrick Elledge

I am a partner and Vice President of Operations for Power Storage Solutions. I am joining two other partners who founded the company to lead the Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Technology Integration teams. I oversee a team of three talented individuals and manage our annual spend and technology roadmap. I am very excited to take on this new adventure after almost 19 years with Interstate Batteries. Before helping startup Interstate PowerCare, I worked for Interstate Batteries Specialty Battery market. I was lucky enough to work with two individuals who saw the vision of Interstate PowerCare. I was a Metallurgist with InvenSys and Texas Foundries and developed products that went into North Sea oil production, Chilean Copper Mines and Mercedes. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with our operations, sales team, and suppliers. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite is working with a business unit to create unique and technology-driven solutions to everyday business problems. As we move through these solutions it is exciting to develop my team and see them move on to greater success once the project is completed within the company. I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Missouri at Rolla in Metallurgical Engineering. I am excited to be part of Interstate Leadership Program.
