Desmond Bokor

I am a Sydney based, Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Shoulder / Elbow Surgery, Sports Medicine and Education and Research (Clinical and Biomechanical). I have a particular interest in shoulder arthroplasty, arthroscopic shoulder surgery, rotator cuff disease and instability surgery. Current appointments include Associate Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Macquarie University and Visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon at Sydney Adventist Hospital. I am a founding member of the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia and have held the positions of both Secretary and President. I am also a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Society, the Australian Orthopaedic Association, the Australian Medical Association and Hawkins Society.
