Throughout my career in the U.S. Army, I’ve always enjoyed the hands-on experience of identifying and recruiting talent, mentoring and developing leaders, and steering diverse, high-performing teams. I have held progressive roles both in the U.S. And Iraq, and earned numerous medals for my conduct, leadership, and expertise. All of this experience is complemented by a BBA in Management, and wide-ranging Specialized Military Training in leadership. Currently, I am the Director of Talent Acquisitions and Business Development in the U.S. Army, based in Fort Hood, TX. Here, I lead a dispersed Army recruiting company, set and enforce the highest standards of conduct, and assist the commander in managing all activities that support the organization’s mission. I have an unparalleled ability to develop strong rapport and working relationships with diverse audiences including high schools, colleges, businesses, and community influencers. I’m always looking for ways to improve our processes and quality, which has resulted in being selected as a top recruiting organization (out of 50+) in the entire Brigade for two years in a row. In previous roles, I’ve managed and monitored all unit training and training plans as the Organization Strategist, and assisted in the success of achieving 121% of the recruiting center’s objective while serving as the Talent Acquisitions Manager. In each role I’ve held, I’ve enjoyed achieving or exceeding set objectives, and I lead and develop my teams to succeed and outperform expectations.
