7 year respiratory therapist with a CRT. Currently set up to take the RRT exam. Very motivated and dedicated therapist. I work in an LTACH with little resources at night. Great critical thinking skills and can handle stressful situation, and very knowledgeable. I work with critical patients who are trached as well as noninvasive therapy like cpap/bipap and vapotherm. I do bronchial hygiene therapy with scheduled breathing treatments, and I work directly under a pulmonologist and follow respiratory protocols. We also do aggressive weaning of patients on ventilators to trach collar and hopefully to decannulation. We also have specialty experience in pediatric homecare. Educated nurses and family on respiratory equipment and diseases as well as a COPD educator. I also have experience in wound care as a safety director in hyperbaric chamber therapy. I did all the education and training for the nurses and doctors. Currently in the process to further my education to become a Physician assistant.
