Diego G. M. Assef

I’m a qualified Brazilian lawyer who graduated at the University of Rouen and the Leibniz University in Hanover with a LL.M. Eur. (Master of Laws in French, German and European Law) degree and I am currently responsible within Chief Claims Office / Key Case Management for the Global Practice Group of Professional Indemnity Claims. For more than ten years I have been working in a high-performance environment of claims management and portfolio steering tasks that has led me to develop the necessary technical knowledge and mindset to solve multi-layered/party complex claims and to understand how to strategically and proactively deliver the best solutions to our internal and external clients within our global claims community. Having lived in five different countries and speaking almost fluently six languages: Portuguese, German, English, French, Spanish and Italian has also led me to further enhance my cultural awareness and my interpersonal skills, which helps me to build solid relationships with insured's and colleagues from different backgrounds and develop a unique understanding and passion of the benefits associated to working in an environment full of diversity and opportunities.
