Since 2002 I have been providing 24 x 7 management service for critical technology incidents. Acting as the focal point for major incidents my responsibilities include mobilizing the appropriate technical, operational, business and vendor resources, maintaining focus and direction, communicating status to business and management, and performing post incident reviews for Root Cause and gap analysis. My career focus has been to ensure work correctly follows a prescribed process flow, review that process for gaps or improvements, and identify or build new toolsets to enhance the overall workflow. I have managed the onboarding of vendor managed software (ServiceNow, xMatters, Pager Duty, and HipLinks), acted as a focal point of interaction with other production work streams within Operations and Engineering, and managed projects for building ITIL Incident Management Processes, onboarding new applications, and reviewing emergency changes.
