As a manager in Fund Reporting my core responsibilities are to analytically review the Annual, Semi-annual and Quarterly Shareholder Reports and the monthly Money Market Funds. My review also includes any follow up items that may arise during the reporting cycle, as well as researching any auditor comments for the funds on cycle. The Fund complex is made up of a variety of Equity, Bond, Municipal and Government Funds, some of which hold derivatives. Additionally, based upon my experience with 40Act Funds and Canadian Funds, I developed a flexibility to review both product types within the department. This has made me a resource to the Canadian Fund Team during their busy cycles. Some of these funds have converted over to the International Fund Reporting Standards (IFRS).
