Don V Nielsen

My goal is to contribute to my employer's bottom line. I am a nose-to-the-grindstone software developer that always seeks to exceed the requirements of my clients. My job is to make easier the jobs of others. My early technical experience had focused on mainframe assembler, HL-ASM. I pushed the envelope to improve ASM development using macros and techniques, employing object oriented principles in ASM development. As time progressed, I have become familiar with a variety of environments and languages. I've learned to work in Windows and Linux environments. I've programmed applications in VB and C# using Microsoft's Visual Studio. I've come to love programming with Ruby, Rails, and SQLite. Other network related experiences are MS Project, MS Office, Open Office, SQL, Sql Server, Integrated Services, Reporting Services, XML, HTML, and various flavors of Linux.
