Donnacha Mullaghy

I'm a Professional Guitar Teacher and Music Teacher having worked in Academies, Primaray schools, Secondary schools and Performance Arts Schools. For the past eight years, I have been giving private music theory and guitar lessons, and group guitar lessons in the North London music academy to students between six to forty years old, along with music classes with students from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Currently I work as a Music Teacher for Welldon Park Primary school with Key Stage 2 students. In this role I have focused on develloping students knowledge on music history, musical terms and proper singing technique. Many students since have decided to sing up private music lessons that the school provides and have shown an increasing interest in music of all genres. As for performing music, since 2016, I have had the opportunity performing in many concerts venues in London, such as Koko (opening for the pop group “All Saints”), The Islington, Nambucca, The Underbelly and Dublin Castle, to name a few.I enjoy being on stage and to discover all types of music. My colleagues know me as dynamic, positive and reliable. I am confident I can adapt myself to any professional musical situation.
