Donnita Simmons, MBA

As an U. S. Navy veteran, Donnita is familiar with adapting with change. Her experience has strengthened her work ethic and dedication to integrity, efficiency, and fairness. She has worked with many different cultures, micro to large companies, and various industries – automotive manufacturing, retail, logistics, construction, not-for-profit, and technology. Donnita certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and in SCPro Fundamentals (Supply Chain Management). She received her MBA specializing in Human Resources from National University. She served as President of Woman’s Life Chapter #817, and Chair of HRACO’s Workforce Development Training and Development sub-committee, and she sat on the board of Nehemiah House of Refuge. She feels her greatest accomplishments always start with helping individuals realize their potential. Talent acquisition, training and development, and process improvement are key areas of knowledge that have propelled Donnita's professional career. Whether as a Program Manager for an IT certification program for a non-profit or as an Office Manager for a tower construction company, her human resources education, experiences, and passion to help others has enabled her to be a top performer in every position she's held. At Rinehart Tower Service, she used her past HR Manager experiences and her SPHR certification knowledge to bring the company into legal compliance and extreme efficiency. In addition to learning the tower construction industry, she maintained compensation and benefits, HRIS and accounting software, and was responsible for policies and procedures, OSHA compliance, risk management, A/R, A/P, worker’s compensation, training, talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement. Donnita's work experiences have conditioned her to work well under pressure, to appreciate challenges, to work collaboratively to achieve team goals, and to communicate with all levels of the organization.
