I began sweeping floors and running the cutoff saw for a small shop in Michigan and have worked my way up to run most any type of metalworking machinery there is in use. I went through an apprenticeship program at Schoolcraft Community College in Livonia MI and graduated in 1971. Even though I began in the industry before the age of CNC machining I have been able to master both programming and operation of the newer machines. At this point I suppose my primary goal is to continue learning until I am no longer able to do the work requiired at which point I will retire Specialties: Currently I specialize in running CNC lathes and vertical milling machines
