Assumed responsibility of a crude & lpg trucking division with full P&L, sales & marketing and operations responsibility in a period of crude decline and led turnaround efforts. Implemented strategic changes to revamp SOP’s and transform target markets and customers. Increased volume 541%; driver count by 329%; customer base by 260%; and achieved a positive P&L. Led rail design and operating plans, land and track leases, and railroad approvals of site development throughout the country. Participated in development of a nationwide network of over 50 refined and renewable fuel, diesel exhaust fluid and crude terminals, including 5 unit train terminals to increase revenues and capture market share. Implemented risk mitigation strategies and oversaw regulatory compliance. Developed strategy for and navigated through complex regulatory changes around EPA and DOT laws.
