Dr Hafiz Fida Hussain Malik

Dr Fida is a Certified Director and an accomplished Supply Chain professional hosted PhD, M.Phil degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences and MBA in Finance & Supply Chain from IBA Karachi (Collaboration with Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania). He has 19 years diverse experience of Site Management (Site Director), Production, Quality, Technical, Engineering Projects, MS&T and geographies (South Africa, Middle East and supported different sites in Nigeria, Nairobi, Vietnam, Malaysia). He has 14 research publications (8.64 Impact Factor) in International Journals on Pharmaceutical Technology. He is Lean 6-Sigma Coach, TRA L2 Mentor, ISO/IEC 17025 Lead Technical Assessor, ISO 14001: EMS, 9001 & OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor. He is well versed with TPM, Productivity improvement, Technology Transfer, New Product Introductions, Product Lifecycle Management & Regulatory Affairs (FDA/MHRA guidelines). KEY ACHEIVEMENTS: • Worked as Technical Director GSK Cape Town site, Cape Town, South Africa. • Took out GSK Cape Town site from the remediation by completing Cleaning Validation and Process robustness on various products like Medlemon, Grandpa and ENO. • Successfully managing the £13.75mio project (Project Grandpa StickPack as a Program Lead. • Coaching and mentoring all of the Middle East and African sites (Cape Town, Agbara, Nairobi & Jamshoro) for TRA and Cleaning and Process Validations. • Prepared Saffron Pharmaceuticals for MHRA (UK) Certification. • Managed Export Operations and Business development for Philippines & Vietnam in Novartis. • L2-Mentor Accreditation for Technical Risk Assessment (TRA) from My Supply Chain Academy, GSK House, London. • Built MS&T team and implemented the new FDA guidelines for Product Lifecycle Management, Continued Process Verification & Cleaning Validation in GSK Jamshoro. • Increased productivity from 65k to 96k units daily on CaC 1000 Tablets line without any CAPEX through Performance Management in Novartis- Pakistan. • Conducted root cause investigation to resolve granules problem @ Sanofi Site (GSK CMO) in Vietnam.
