I am a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a registered European Engineer (EUR ING). I am an experienced Civil Engineer and Asset Management Specialist with a PhD in Civil Engineering: Pavement Engineering. I apply my theoretical, practical, technical and commercial knowledge and expertise in providing innovative solutions to clients on Asset Management, Pavement Designs, Materials, Research, Data Analysis and Technical Consultancy in the Road and Construction Industry. I am passionate about processes that improve efficiencies through the use of technology, digitisation, effective collaboration and standardisation. My areas of specific professional interests and technical expertise include project delivery, design reviews, construction supervision, asset management, pavement efficiencies, research and development of innovative asphalt pavements, review of specifications for roads and bridges, technical consultancy, pavement failures and site investigations, sustainability, risk assessments and method statements.I enjoy working on roles or projects that are challenging and complex. This provides me with the opportunity to develop and apply effective plans and strategies to ensure projects are delivered successfully to clients, meeting the scope, on time, on budget and to a high standard. I enjoy helping people and projects succeed. I am currently on the Emerging Leaders Programme with the Roads Academy which is a sector-specific leadership academy for the next generation of industry leaders designed to enhance the way in which the roads sector thinks, behaves and performs.
