Dr. Deepan Chatterjee

* 17+ years of actual clinical/research/teaching/management experience working with acute psychiatric disorders, including dementia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, mood disorders, personality disorders, childhood disorders such as Asperger's/ADHD/autism spectrum/oppositional defiant disorder/conduct disorder, co-occurring disorders, and with a variety of patient populations including psychiatric inpatient adults and children; managed care patients in private practice; incarcerated individuals; severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents in the school system; and currently with the geriatric population * 15+ years of postdoctoral clinical experience, specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illnesses, including individual, family and group psychotherapy, as well as psychopharmacological consults * 11+ years of geropsychology/geropsychiatry experience * 4 years of clinical experience working in the correctional system * 15+ years of managed care private practice experience * Research experience working on two major grants, including NIMH and HRSA grants, as well as in pharmaceutical research. * 6+ years of clinical supervision and practice management experience * Research, management and administration of clinical trials * Proficiency with statistical data analysis and research design * Workshop development and presentation: Regular presenter of workshops for Continuing Education/ Continuing Medical Education for psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals * Fellow, Maryland Psychological Association * Elected Treasurer and Member, Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, Maryland Psychological Association * Treasurer and Member, Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, American Society for the Advancement of Pharmacotherapy, American Psychological Association
