Emad Rahim, PhD, DM, PMP, CSP-SM

Dr. Emad Rahim is a Fulbright Recipient, TEDx Speaker, Beyster Scholar Fellow an award-winning Author, Entrepreneur, and Teacher. He is a dynamic educator, higher education administrator, and business leader, with an outstanding talent for making rapid business assessments of diverse situational challenges, and developing and leading the resulting action plan. A proactive leader that is skilled in developing strategic business partnerships and securing sponsorships. Dr. Rahim earned an AACSB Bridge Post-Doctorate Diploma in Marketing (Tulane University), a Post-Doctorate Certificate in Higher Education Administration (MLE Fellow at Harvard University and University of Maryland Global campus), a Doctorate of Management (Colorado Tech), and two graduate degrees in project management and business management (Colorado Tech). He completed his undergraduate education at SUNY Empire State College and Onondaga Community College. He received an honorary Ph.D. From The Chicago School of Professional Chicago and an honorary undergraduate degree from Onondaga Community College. Dr. Rahim obtained several nationally recognized professional certification, including Certified Scrum Master/ Agile (CSM, A-CSM, CSP-CM, SA - SAFe), Online Marketing Certified Professional (OMCP), Certified Manager (CM, C.Mgr.), Project Management Professional (PMP, CPM, APMC) and Certified Business Manager (CBM). In 2021, he was awarded a City Proclamation by Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh and given a Volunteer of the Year Award from the CNY Business Journal. In 2018 he was the recipient of the Community Impact Award by SUNY Empire States College and in 2017 received of the prestigious Outstanding Alumni Award issued by the American Association of Community Colleges and John H. Mulroy Founder's Award by Onondaga Community College. He was honored with an Award of Distinction by Southwest University in 2016 and was recognized for his contribution to the entrepreneurship ecosystem at the United Nations Headquarters as an Empact100 Honoree and in 2012 he was invited to attend the Empact Summit at the White House and US Chambers of Commerce in Washington DC.
