Dr. Shoaib Khan

I obtained B,Pharm degree from Pharmacy Department, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2000. I did M.Phil and PhD in the field of Pharmaceutics from Pharmacy Department, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2004 and 2013 respectively.I am currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. My expertise are to explore the plants/ fruits having antioxidant activities and formulation of creams of these extracts. In our lab, we are working on In vitro and In vivo Characterization of skin preparations on human skin by using non invasive probes.Different non invasive probes like Mexameter, Elastometer, Visioscan, MPA 580 are available for In vivo studies on human skin. For In vitro stability studies, Different Incubators, Rheometer, PH meter , Codnuctivity meter, Stirrors for formulation development, Rotary evaporator , Microscope for globule size measurement etc are available in our lab. M.Phil and PhD students are currently doing the research work on above mentioned instruments.
