• Web developer with a passion for learning • Driven, hard-working, creative, and team-oriented • An empathetic and nuanced communicator • Motivated by finding effective solutions and thoughtful compromise At ASU, my focus was in the design, engineering, and implementation of interactive content for live performance through a variety of media, including web, IoT, hardware devices, computer vision, biometric sensors, and audio. In 2012, Jeff Rose and I launched and ran a small brick and mortar startup for music called Jivemind Cooperative Music Labs. I developed and implemented web tools for keeping track of inventory, memberships, member checkins, and employee time management; I also developed (though did not implement) open-source networked key card readers for ingress/egress using the Arduino platform and flavors of Node.js (Meteor and Express) for local and redundant cloud-based backups. I believe that web technology can improve the world through automation and insight, and I'm always reading about and trying out the newest tech to make that a reality. I believe that arts are social infrastructure, and that they teach the vital skills of self-reflection, mindfulness, and critique while fostering social connection.
