Christine Pacinello, Ed. D

Dr. Pacinello is an experienced and highly qualified teacher, providing professional development for teachers throughout New York State. Dr. Pacinello has over 20 years of teaching experience, in both elementary grades as well as the Media Coordinator for St. Patrick School. She also worked with the Education Department of the Diocese of Rockville Centre as part of their Morningstar Initiative Team, as a curriculum lead teacher. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Italian Studies with a minor in Business Administration from Stony Brook University, a Master's Degree in Education from C.W. Post L I University, and attended the Administrative Program at Stony Brook University's School of Professional Development. Her NY Permanent Certifications are Elementary Education (K-6 grades), English as a Second Language, (K- 12 grades), and School District Administration. She was awarded membership into Phi Beta Kappa in May 1984. Dr. Pacinello recently completed the Doctoral program at St. John's University in the School of Education program for Administration and Supervision. In October 2017 an article she coauthored was published on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN). On November 14, 2017, she successfully defended her dissertation, entitled "Factors Affecting Teacher Self-Efficacy in Elementary Mathematics". Her degree, Doctor of Education in Administrative and Instructional Leadership, was conferred in January 2018. Dr. Pacinello is currently conducting research on instructional methods in elementary education which will engage students and enhance academic performance. She hopes to use this research to help both pre-service and in-service teachers enhance their job performance.
