I excel at finding solutions and love to deliver results, developing relationships and making new contacts along the way! Whether it is an engineering challenge, an ineffective organisational structure, understanding the development needs of individuals or how to keep operations running in a sustainable way; I have proven success in driving change and adding value. My passion for delivering the very best extends into my personal life as well and I have been fortunate to have contributed to youth organisations as well as pursue personal projects and interests. One of my key advantages is being dyslexic and it not being detected until I had mostly completed my Master’s degree! I appreciate this will be counter-intuitive to many but what it caused me to do without realising, was to develop ways of working that break down scenarios into critical factors and use applied logic and understanding to progress. As such, I am methodical, organised and communicate clearly whilst validating with evidence and data as a matter of course. Combined with integrity and innovation these traits have helped me be highly successful in delivering results and building trust with colleagues and customers alike. Predominantly working for advanced mechanical testing facilities; I have become a recognised leader in testing programme management, bespoke solutions and fracture toughness testing. Beyond this external reputation, I have also been critical to developing production processes and manufacturing techniques in order to provide specialist services at industrial costs and turnarounds. For me however, it is not necessarily the subject matter that inspires, more the journey to success with the interactions along the way. I am always excited to find opportunities to continue my ongoing personal and professional development with organisations that will value my extensive array of skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience.
