Eddy Azzopardi

With more than 40 years experience in the automotive OEM and aftersales business, Eddy has worked in: Aftersales, Product Development Team leadership, Asia Pacific Vehicle Line Program Management, Sales and Marketing, Purchasing and Supplier Development. For most of Eddy’s automotive career, he worked for General Motors in Australia and Thailand. His responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams responsible for developing and executing new vehicle interiors to achieve corporate targets for: Perceived Quality, Manufacturability, Engineering, Finance Targets, Aftermarket sales optimisation, Serviceability and Program Timing. Eddy has worked on various General Motors, Global and Asia Pacific new vehicle programs, including programs in Australia, Europe, USA, India and Thailand. During General Motors’ initial stages of establishing a manufacturing plant on their greenfield site in Thailand (Rayong), Eddy had responsibility for training newly appointed Thai buyers and was Liaison between Purchasing in Thailand and Project Engineering in Australia. Eddy is currently the Managing Director of Vision Automotive Technology in Thailand and Australia. Vision Automotive Technology designs, develops and manufacturers Wiring Harnesses and Electronic Products for OEM vehicle manufacturers, Genuine Accessories business units and Aftermarket customers. Vision Supplies direct to OEM and Aftermarket customers as well as Tier 1 customers located in Thailand, Australia, Europe and the United States.
