My students know me to be their respected teacher, but also never doubt how much I care about their success in and out of my classroom. I am organized and strive to establish routines in order to create an inviting and safe environment. I'm up-to-date on current teaching methods and am always looking for ways to collaborate with others. Students must play an active role in their learning process, and it's my job to motivate them to do so and help them to enjoy the process along the way. Teenagers are not always the easiest to work with, but I am highly sensitive to the developmental needs of their age group.
