Edgar Rahbani-Rodriguez

I am an aspiring Account Executive with a demonstrated history of working with domestic and international professional/collegiate corporations, collaborating on and successfully improving their efficiency as a business as well as a sporting side of an sports organization. In my international work experience in Spain with Villarreal CF, I completed a fully-expansive market analysis on the companies potential partnerships and their capability to reach out to soccer youth academies in the United States. Domestically, I worked with the Houston Dynamo for 8 months and in total raised about $34,000 towards the Houston Dynamo Charities. I also worked with University of Houston Athletic department by expediting statistical details local and national companies televising sporting events, conducted post-game interviews with coaches and players to later review and draft for university publication. I have also gained the necessary sales experience in my experiences with the Memphis Grizzlies and in Real Estate to strive for a career in sales in various industries including tech and/or sports. I value working at my best to help any team I work with reach their best, and I take pride in seeing my accomplishments come through the success of a team. I enjoy the analytic portions of scouting, both on individual players, as well as teams cohesively. Outside of work, what powers me is my family, my love for traveling and adventure. I completed a Bachelors degree in Sport Administration with a Minor in Law, Values and Policy from the University of Houston, as well as completed my masters degree from Louisiana State University. I am Bilingual (English and Spanish) and am skilled in the usage of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. I work under a growth-mindset. Many see what they want and pigeon-hole themselves which hinders their ability to achieve their full potential. I constantly look at how to better myself and my abilities, I look for opportunities for growth and use them advantageously. In this frame of mind, I also find that my strongest qualities are Management/leadership and commitment. I am also extremely empathetic, but very compartmentalized when necessary, which makes my ability to manage much easier and efficient.
