Eduardo Gouveia

Eduardo is experienced in designing and establishing organisation-wide portfolio management functions, enabling better decision-making and successful delivery of multiple streams aligned to strategic objectives. He has helped organizations create, develop, and mature their Portfolio Management function, by tailoring and designing the PMO processes, establishing governance and setting the roadmap to increase maturity. He focuses on bringing best practices that enable the adoption of more output-driven approaches, with emphasis on achieving the strategic and organisation-wide benefits while managing the inter-dependencies across streams. Eduardo promotes an engaging team environment and is comfortable working with C-suite level as well as project teams. This is built upon his invaluable international experience in enabling and driving transformation, leading projects and programmes in different regions and sectors. He has led successful 3PM deliveries in both the public and private sectors in the UK, including governmental agencies, energy, utilities, healthcare and pharma and central government. Most recently he implemented Portfolio management capability across Highways England, the UK Space Agency, and the Royal Society of Chemistry. Eduardo is a qualified APM Project Manager (PMQ) and a certified AXELOS MoP Practitioner (Management of Portfolios). As a PMO, he has successfully delivered challenging projects and has developed Portfolio Management capabilities in several private and public sector clients. During his 10 year period at Bosch, he was the 1st ever group's associate to be based in Africa for the Thermotechnology division, where he introduced solar and other renewable energy solutions and opened five new markets for the group in the region. In the UK, Eduardo piloted and led the Cross-Selling Programme, which shaped the new collaborative and customer-driven mindset of the organisation. From Germany, he managed the Heating markets of Latin America and Africa, having introduced several new product ranges. Eduardo thrives in international environments having lived in 5 countries, visiting 60+ and speaking 5 languages.
