Edward Cocliff

I started my career with New Jersey Bell in 1971. During my years at the Telephone Company I progressed thru the Central Office world first being a Frame Attendant then a Crossbar Switchman and when Technology progressed so did I and went into the Electronic Switching world mostly in the Support Services side. I was a tier one Switchman for numerous switching technologies, examples being the AT&T 1A,5E and 3B switches. Along with that I supported the Northern Telcom DMS Switch. During my years of working at the phone company I was elected into the Business Agent position for IBEW Local 827 four terms. My responsibilities included negotiations, Arbitration and Mediations. After a total of forty-two (42) years in the Telecom industry I started a new career with Tekmark Global Solutions as a recruiter. It is a totally different avenue from where i came from but i am enjoying it totally. I am hoping that the people I helped during my first career will help me in my future endevours.
