Because they provide food for key pollinators, they restore degraded soil, they sequester a fantastic amount of CO2 and look great while doing it. On top of this My Square Metre provides marketing material to businesses, based on the positive environmental benefit of the wildflower planting. As well as My Square Metre, I also set up WildflowerWeek.com as a platform to celebrate Wildflowers in the first week of May, Bringing together experts to run events and write blogs about these fantastic little plants.
