Ted Hancock

Having worked in the business/marketing, administrative, and educational portions of the healthcare space, I've developed a host of skills that apply to my work interests. In my current role I oversee the coordination of the Marketing and Sales teams at a mid-size SaaS solutions provider for all types of genomics researchers (pharma to academia). I both develop strategy and implement our go-to-market launches, ad campaigns, and online presence, as well as internal procedures and policies to align our sales team with the overarching company value propositions and provide playbooks alongside market intelligence to create a complete sales strategy. In the past I've worked on the sales side for a small Health Economics firm, giving me insight into the sales process that I now back up from the marketing department. Before that, as a research assistant for a public health research study on cessation and as member of a committee dedicated to making a tobacco-free campus. Additionally, I've worked across several campus departments as a teaching assistant and in the Health Promotion Office as a peer-health educator and even as an outdoor educator and EMT; all of which have helped me hone my decision making, organizational, and team-working skills in all sorts of high pressure environments, from the tops of mountains to the trauma rooms of hospitals.
