I've been working in a Devops role with MSFT technologies such as VSTS, Azure Resource Manager, creating ARM templates, and am now developing in C#, asp.net, .net core. I have also had good experience consulting with clients. I presented a technical demo with e-Vis for the Swedish Medicine Verification System to many pharmaceutical and wholesaler representatives. My time at Solidsoft Reply has taught me a lot about many areas of the business and consulting in general. I have been working on a complex environment for an even more complex solution. This has forced me to really expand my capabilities. In my devops role, I have found many ways to help the development team. I have found I have become an advocate of automation and continuous integration. The principles of devops really appeal to me. Now I am doing more pure development, I am learning how to make sure I code cleanly, following lessons from Uncle Bob and more. OO seems to have certain advantages, but I suspect as I become more proficient at design, I will start to see the disadvantages as opposed to functional or procedural.
