Eileen Albillar

I am a Licensed Social Worker, and have spent the past 8 years in Community Action, working with non-profit and government agencies to help address the root causes of poverty. I have been active with NASW, Planned Parenthood, and the local chapter of the National Organization for Women, and have worked with various campaigns to help elect excellent candidates for school board, state legislature and more both in Arizona and Pennsylvania. I have worked on several political campaigns and with local leaders on current issues that affect the health and wellness of the community-at-large, specifically advocating for low-income populations, and for energy and utility programs. I've knocked on doors, canvassed, phone banked, and organized community meetings, as well as worked closely with executive-level managers to develop and manage multi-million dollar annual budgets, two of which increased by more than 30% due to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. I returned to the Philadelphia area in 2010 with my husband and our daughter Emily was born in May 2012.
