El Faouzi Nour-Eddin

Prof. Nour-Eddin EL FAOUZI is a Full Professor at University of Gustave Eiffel, Deputy Head of Department Component and Systems (COSYS), and the Director of Transport and Traffic Engineering Laboratory (LICIT), a Joint Research Unit of University of Gustave Eiffel and ENTPE (Post-graduate School of Transport and Civil Engineering). He received a Doctorate degree (Data Science and Machine Learning) in 1992, from the University of Montpellier, France. He earned a Habilitation (Traffic Modelling and Data Analytics) in 2008 from the University of Lyon, France. He is also Adjunct Professor at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia and run the European Society of Traffic Management and Control (NEARCTIS Virtual Center of Excellence - NEARCTIS VCE). His research activities range from Traffic Modeling, Data Analytics, machine learning, mobility analysis, development of decision support systems, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), C-ITS and network modelling and control. He is member of the European Society of Traffic Management and Control, ECTRI (European Conference of Transport Research Institutes), member of European Program Committee of ITS word Congresses and the Transportation Research Board (TRB).
