I have been managing the Broker Country Medical Underwriting team for 6 years now. During this time the team and department have been through much change and growth from a technology and people point of view. In respect of service we have engaged many initiatives in underwriting in order to set us apart in the market. Having won PIBA the last five years in a row is testament to this. As Team Leader I am responsible for the everyday running of the team - from the managing of people issues, to ensuring proper training is provided to enhance capabilities/versatility, and that an excellent team atmosphere is promoted with engaged employees in a productive environment.
